The Cultural Club is a startup platform designed to connect venues and cultural spaces in Barcelona with people looking for experiences across the city, from music and exhibitions to markets and food events. The challenge was to transform event discovery into a simple, intuitive, and socially driven experience while capturing the collective spirit of going out that defines Barcelona’s culture.

Creation of a brand's visual language

The strategy centered on the idea of shared experiences, expressed through the concept “Exit Together”, visually represented by the universal emergency-exit icon of two people moving together. This symbol became the foundation of the identity, reinforcing the idea that culture is something experienced collectively.

The modular graphic language allows the brand to operate across multiple contexts from the app interface, including dedicated day and night modes, to posters, merchandise, and real-world access materials for events.

Photography direction.

The photography direction reinforces the brand’s focus on movement, spontaneity, and shared urban experience. Images depict people in motion like skateboarding, cycling, running, or moving through the city capturing the dynamic rhythm of Barcelona’s cultural life. Faces are intentionally cropped out of the compositions so the subjects remain anonymous, allowing viewers to project themselves into the scene and making the imagery feel inclusive and universal: it could be anyone going out to discover the city.
